About Dee

Dee has been reading Tarot for 26 years. She is an intuitive and spiritual reader who treats every reading as a therapeutic experience that can help us untangle difficult or challenging moments in our lives. When we map out where we are and know what choices we’re facing, we can find tools, solutions and pathways to the outcomes that are the most conducive to our spiritual growth and self-development. Dee is a believer in the power of intuition, the flow of life energy and a wholistic approach to personhood as a complex and entangled web of the rational, material, spiritual and the intuitive.  Dee regularly reads at Canberra Psychic Fairs, at the Hierophant and at the Crystal Chalice.

She is also an academic with a PhD in legal philosophy who has challenged the disconnected approach to the understanding of the world and published scholarship more attuned to the complexity of human experience. Combining her passion for Tarot and teaching, she regularly offers Tarot classes and Tarot meditations giving Canberrans an opportunity to explore the secrets of the beautiful and enchanting Tarot deck.

In her personal practice Dee works under the name Dee-Ann Darkwood and is a secular pagan and witch. She draws on pagan principles and symbolism as enduring humanistic wisdom providing deep and philosophical grounding for a more embedded and transcendental relationship with the universe. In her free time Dee dabbles in the world of arts.
